Invitae is committed to making genetic testing affordable and accessible by removing financial and logistical barriers.
Our Patient Assistance Program is available to patients in the United States and provides:
Uninsured patients: Invitae will waive fees for patients who meet income criteria, are uninsured, and are receiving diagnostic panel, carrier screen, prenatal, or pregnancy loss testing. The Patient Assistance Program is not available for uninsured patients receiving exome, pediatric microarray, or preimplantation genetic testing.
Patients with commercial insurance: Invitae offers partial or total reduction in out-of-pocket costs for patients with commercial insurance who meet certain financial and clinical criteria. This applies to all Invitae testing except preimplantation genetic testing.
Patients with Medicare, Medicaid, or similar government insurance programs: The Invitae Patient Assistance Program does not apply to these patients. However, we do offer financial support in some cases for both Medicare and Medicaid.
Documentation: We ask for proof of income documentation in the form of an IRS Form 1040. If a 1040 is not available, please contact Client Services to discuss other options.
Please note the Invitae Patient Assistance Program is not offered for preimplantation genetic testing or proactive testing.
